ProActive for Patients Media. Inc. was founded by an
experienced team of healthcare executives who
share a deep respect for physician-patient
relationships, and a belief that the most
powerful voice in healthcare is the voice of
each patient’s own physician.

The team has a broad perspective on how
industry and physicians can work together to
better serve the ongoing needs of patients being
treated for chronic medical conditions.

ProActive for Patients is led by Chairman Wayne P. Yetter, who previously served as CEO of Astra Merck and Novartis Pharmaceuticals; Chief Executive Officer Robert J. Burg, a leader in creating nationwide physician networks and associated systems; Founder and Executive Publisher Virginia Harris, a patient-education specialist, and William Condrell, MD, a practicing primary care physician and physician network expert.

Wayne P. Yetter
Chairman

With a career spanning over 30 years, Mr. Yetter rose through the ranks from Field Representative calling on practicing physicians on behalf of Pfizer to founding CEO of Astra Merck. He also served as CEO of Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Yetter joined IMS as CEO, and led the creation of Synavant Inc. as Chairman and CEO. This company provided services to facilitate appropriate communications with physicians, and was acquired by Dendrite International. He also served as CEO of Verispan LLC, a healthcare information company focused on measuring patient response and preferences, which was acquired by SDI Health.

Mr. Yetter served as CEO of Odyssey Pharmaceuticals, Non-Executive Chairman of Noven Pharmaceuticals, Chairman of Transkaryotic Therapies, and lead director of Matria Healthcare. He currently serves as a director of EpiCept Corporation and InfuSystems Holdings, Inc.

Robert J. Burg
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Burg has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field with significant expertise in developing relationships and partnerships with large healthcare provider networks, as well as experience in entrepreneurial startups and growth companies. His expertise is in the areas of operations, finance, business development and consulting.

Prior to ProActive, he served as the VP of Business Development for Medem, Inc., an online physician-patient network founded by the American Medical Association (AMA) and several other medical societies.

Mr. Burg served in a similar capacity for Eclipsys Corporation, a healthcare IT company that provided enterprise solutions to health systems, MedSafe, an accreditation and regulatory compliance firm that served hospitals and physician groups, and as Executive Vice President leading the early expansion of FPA Medical Management, which was one of the first nationwide publicly traded physician practice management companies.

He also served twelve years as a COO and CFO of Memorial Health Alliance, a health system in Southern New Jersey. He began his career with Arthur Andersen.

Virginia A. Harris
Founder and Executive Publisher

Virginia Harris is a patient education specialist with over 20 years of hands-on experience in creating innovative solutions that enhance patient adherence by supporting physician-patient relationships.

With success in every therapeutic category, she has led projects incorporating print, online, video and e-mail formats, partnering with a wide range of organizations to deliver messaging that is customized to each patient’s needs. She has developed analytical systems to assess the effectiveness of patient education activities in producing consistent adherence to prescribed medication regimens.

Prior to launching ProActive, she was a Patient Adherence Consultant at Roska Healthcare, where she worked exclusively with their pharmaceutical company clients, and served as VP of New Business Development at TMPC, a patient and physician healthcare information service company, acquired by Publicis.

William Condrell, MD
Chief Medical Officer

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Condrell has been practicing in the Washington, D.C and Virginia areas since 1992.

He also has extensive experience in managing major physician networks as the VP/Medical Director for FPA Medical Management, Inc. and as the Chief Medical Officer for Advocates for Primary Care, Inc.

He received his B.A. in Biology from Pomona College, a M.S. in Physiology and a M.D. from Georgetown University.

Trevor S. Feight
Chief Technology Officer
and Creative Director

Trevor Feight is an internet technology and creative design specialist with over 15 years of hands-on experience.

He is known as an 'interactive' innovator in the healthcare field and has led teams responsible for the development of numerous award-winning patient and physician education websites for companies including Merck, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Sankyo, Janssen, Lilly and Medtronic.

Prior to joining ProActive for Patients, Mr. Feight established an independant consulting company and served as the Executive Creative Director of Roska Healthcare.

Nicholas C. E. Pollard
Director of Investor Relations and
Finance, Director

Mr. Pollard earned an MBA in Finance from the Boston University Graduate School of Management and has more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance and equity research in the areas of technology, life sciences and medical devices. He has worked extensively with early-stage companies.

Prior to joining ProActive for Patients, he served as Director of Research in IDC’s Tech Investor program. He has additional corporate experience working for UBS AG, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Adams Harkness, and H.C. Wainwright. He began his career at Merrill Lynch.
